Ikola Cup 2017
The Ikola Cup was started in 2006 as an alumni based golf event to support the betterment of Edina Hockey. Over the years the Ikola Cup has raised over $100,000 that has ultimately been used to improve Braemar Arena; including the Hornet Nest locker rooms as well as updating Edina Tradition throughout the arena, the Willard Ikola scholarship, and Edina girls and boys Varsity Hockey. While this tradition of supporting Edina hockey continues the Ikola Cup has now broadened it's charitable contribution by donating to the Minnesota Special Needs Hockey program and Edina Parks and Rec, where the winning team of the Ikola Cup donates to an Edina Park of their choice.
The Ikola Cup is where the tradition of Edina Hockey continues and prospers.
Tradition Capital Bank was honored to be one of the sponsors of the 2017 Cup. Tradition Capital Bank makes it a priority as a company to give back to the community through their very own Keystone Giving Program. The 2017 Ikola Cup was a HUGE success, raising nearly $20,000. Go Hornets!
