World Cancer Day - Our Partnership with the Pinky Swear Foundation
On World Cancer Day. Pinky Swear Foundation announced their partnership with Tradition Companies and Art of Edina during a media event at Southdale Center. We are so excited about this partnership and to raise awareness about childhood cancer.
Through this partnership we created a beautiful mural that hangs at Southdale Center. You can read the history behind the mural by clicking HERE.
On this important day, we also honored our friend, Alex, who recently relapsed with Acute Myleloid Leukemia (AML). (pictured above)
From Tradition’s Art of Edina Director, Jill Cherwenka Emmer:
“We are thrilled to partner with the Pinky Swear Foundation. This has been a wonderful opportunity to educate our community youth on the importance of helping others in need,” says Jill Emmer, executive director for Art of Edina. “We are so proud of this unique project that has brought together the Edina Football Association, Southdale Center and the Pinky Swear Foundation! What an amazing way to spread awareness through art!”
